Meet Luis Alberto
We’ve been purchasing coffee from Luis Alberto since 2019. He operates two farms and a washing station in the Nueva Segovia region of Nicaragua. His two farms, Un Regalo de Dios and La Bendición produce beautiful and clean natural and honey processed coffees. This coffee is from La Bendición and is 100% Maracaturra variety which is a cross between Maragogype and Caturra.

Our Sourcing Trips at Origin
Our sourcing team strives to develop relationships and has visited small coffee farms and communities in countries like Costa Rica, El Salvador, Colombia, Mexico, Ethiopia and Kenya. We constantly work to improve our business and products by staying engaged with the forefront of the industry and the producers of coffee.
Our Recent Trip:
Today’s visit was to Peter Lucas and his family just outside of Goroka. They have an exciting opportunity to put their family’s farm on the map. Finding single-farm coffees is rare in PNG, so we’re waiting with anticipation to see how Peter’s coffees will turn out!
