We had the privilege of visiting him and his community in 2023 while traveling with Crop to Cup. This coffee was discovered by Crop to Cup’s Good Coffee Program, which aims to provide market access to untapped specialty coffee producers throughout Mexico. This coffee comes from Augustín and his extended family.

Our Sourcing Trips at Origin
Our sourcing team strives to develop relationships and has visited small coffee farms and communities in countries like Costa Rica, El Salvador, Colombia, Mexico, Ethiopia and Kenya. We constantly work to improve our business and products by staying engaged with the forefront of the industry and the producers of coffee.
Our Recent Trip:
Today’s visit was to Peter Lucas and his family just outside of Goroka. They have an exciting opportunity to put their family’s farm on the map. Finding single-farm coffees is rare in PNG, so we’re waiting with anticipation to see how Peter’s coffees will turn out!
